∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Training on food safety certification standards necessary.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1) Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, and engineers. Review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and plans, ensuring alignment with regulations, guidelines, and policies.
∎ 2) Maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures (including HACCP, GMP) and government requirements.
∎ 3) Review product and process quality metric reports. Convey data trends, results, and potential implications of quality control (QC) data to stakeholders.
∎ 4) Design quality assurance (QA) policies to prevent issues leading to poor product quality.
∎ 5) Investigate and design corrective actions for internal and external (customer) deviations and complaints.
∎ 6) Maintains quality team performance by coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
