∎ Proven experience managing complex project phases with tight deadlines and high pressure.
∎ Strong knowledge of construction planning, BOQs, scheduling software (Primavera/MS Project), AutoCAD, and other civil tools.
∎ Capable of handling multiple teams and streamlining site operations in a structured and professional manner.
∎ Experience in vendor management, budgeting, material logistics, and progress reporting.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis-management skills.
∎ Must be physically fit and willing to work long hours if needed to meet critical deadlines.
∎ Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s construction laws, safety codes, and local permitting procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Take full ownership of the remaining civil construction activities of the shopping mall project.
∎ Break down the remaining works into actionable components, prepare a detailed execution schedule, and ensure strict adherence to timelines.·
∎ Lead, manage, and coordinate multiple vendor teams, subcontractors, and labor forces working simultaneously on-site.
∎ Continuously monitor work progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement immediate corrective measures.
∎ Ensure quality assurance, structural safety, and compliance with design specifications.
∎ Work closely with the Project Director, MEP Head, Architects, and other stakeholders to align civil work progress with the overall project vision.
∎ Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews with senior management.
∎ Lead weekly performance meetings with site teams and maintain transparent reporting on milestones.
∎ Identify, negotiate with, and onboard reliable vendors and subcontractors.
∎ Manage project documentation, civil drawings, approvals, and work certifications as per local regulations.
∎ Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protocols.
∎ We are developing Bangladesh’s third-largest shopping mall, a landmark commercial complex located in the heart of Mirpur, Dhaka. With over 60% of the project already completed, we are entering a critical phase that demands an elite, highly skilled professional team. As part of an organizational reshuffle, we are recruiting a Head of Civil Engineering to take full command of the civil works remaining and drive the project to timely and efficient completion. Project Status: 60% Completed.
