Education:

• Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) in Civil Engineering from Public Universities with IEB membership.

• Candidates holding Project Management Professional (PMP)® or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ certification will be given preference.

Additional Requirements:

• Age At least 45 years

• A minimum of 20 years of relevant professional experience in the real estate industry is required.

• Proven experience managing at least 10 high-rise building construction projects simultaneously as a Project Manager within a reputable real estate organization will be considered a significant advantage.

• Experience in the construction of buildings featuring as-cast concrete finishes is required.

• Demonstrated, hands-on experience in construction site leadership, including execution and supervision of deep excavation works, shore protection works (4-5 Basements) and the delivery of high-rise commercial and residential buildings (20+ Floors).

• Comprehensive understanding of the structural stages and finishing stages of high-rise building construction.

• Strong technical knowledge of finishing works for large-scale residential condominium developments.

• Practical field exposure to the operation and safety management of heavy construction equipment, such as Rotary Drilling Rig, Tower Crane and Construction Passenger Hoist, etc., will be viewed as an added advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including BNBC, ACI and ASTM.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for effective planning, tracking and reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation.

Responsibilities & Context:

We invite experienced and forward-thinking construction professionals to join our organization to lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple landmark high-rise developments, including major Commercial Buildings with 5B+G+29 Floors, 4B+G+19 Floors and 5B+G+36 Floors featuring as-cast concrete finishes and 2B+G+20 Floors Residential Condominium Complex comprising 6 Buildings. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing key project parameters such as scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved plans, budgets and best practices through strong technical expertise and people-focused leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic suggestions for technological upgrades and innovations.
• Planning and scheduling of project works, materials, machineries and man power requirements in logical steps to optimum utilization of resources.
• Construction work day to day supervision and monitoring to ensure work progress as per approved drawings, materials, specifications and standards.
• Provide strong management and technical skills to ensure proper implementation of project work.
• Ensure strong implementation of quality control programs with minimal wastage of construction materials.
• Implementation of safety guideline, building codes, regulations and inspection compliance to achieve and maintain safe and healthy working environment.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, adjusting plans as needed to achieve objectives.
• Review construction technical documents for accuracy, feasibility, quality and conformance to determine appropriate/standard construction methods.
• Coordination with architects, structural engineer, electrical engineer, plumbing engineer, supply chain management and contractors to maintain the schedule & integrity of works.
• Monitor and supervise the activities of Project-in-Charge (PIC), Project Engineer (PE), Deputy Project Engineer (DPE) and Assistant Project Engineer (APE) according to site Program/ Schedule.
• Preparation of monthly construction budget, progress reports, tracking as per "look ahead" schedule, updating and participate in review meetings with departmental head.
• Periodically review the progress of all operations against the target schedule and determine strategies to accelerate the works.
• Optimize the use of manpower, materials and equipment to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain and comply with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) at all phases of construction works
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting and progress monitoring.
• Communicate policy guidelines to the members of the projects.
• Resolve construction-related conflicts and operational issues effectively and in a timely manner.Arrange and attend meeting with contractors and site personnel to identify the issues to improve the quality of work and take initiative accordingly.
• Evaluate performance of the contractors and recommend to the higher authority to engage proper contractors for the construction works and monitor their performance for future engagement/employments.
• Participate in rate negotiation and labor contractor selection process, providing technical insights.
• Consistently followed up and ensure that all received materials are in conformity both in respect of desired quality and quantity of works and approved bill of quantity (BOQ).
• Build skill teams, identified potential problems, took corrective action and notified the proper level of authority.
• Review and verify various bills, including contractor running bills and petty cash statements.
• Perform any other engineering or management duties assigned by the higher authority.
