Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any Public University like BUET / KUET / CUET / RUET, etc.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 16 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and develop work plan and oversee the performance of all construction activities;
∎ Full time construction supervision of multiple high-rise buildings having multiple basements & fair-face concrete;
∎ Directly responsible for the quality of construction and timely completion of the projects;
∎ Forecast all construction challenges & risks and devise innovative approaches to overcome all possible challenges;
∎ Provide senior management, technical and professional leadership for the delivery of projects works;
∎ Coordinate with all regulatory authorities, departments and accordingly resolves construction problems;
∎ Regular meeting with engineering staff, third parties, and other agencies as necessary and develops status reports, and delivers presentations as required;
∎ Ensure the works are delivered safely and de-risked through innovation and expertise in planning, design and delivery methodologies;
∎ Obtain approvals for changes to the project that have been generated by the contractors;
∎ Direct the tracking and control of construction schedules and associated costs for achieving project completion within the budget and time allotted;
∎ Direct the planning and schedule of works to optimize safe and timely delivery, minimize disruption, delay and inconvenience to adjacent businesses, stakeholders and the community;
∎ Select tools, equipment and materials and track inventory for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within scope & budget;
∎ Site control in all respects like budgetary control, progress control, administrative control, material Inflow and consumption etc.;
∎ Review the construction work progress according to schedule and take corrective measure to catch on delays;
∎ Conduct periodic meeting with project personnel, architects and contractors for all technical issues and deliver the decision for smooth construction;
∎ Ensure all costs and risk updates are communicated and incorporated into the overall project reporting.
∎ Escalate issues, keep informed, advise and regular updates on key projects and programs, issues and priorities;
∎ Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Half-Yearly and Yearly Report presentation to the Management;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ At least 16 years of proven experience in large Screen-Printing industry out of which 2-3 years in similar position;
∎ The applicants should have excellent communication skill with strong track record and ability to work with merchandisers;
∎ Sound Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies;
∎ Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and experience supervising, training and mentoring staff;
∎ Good understanding on business acumen and exceptional interpersonal and communication skill;
∎ In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices;
∎ Excellent understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles;
∎ Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics;
∎ Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
∎ Well Conversant in MS Office, preferably in Oracle ERP;
