Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering from any reputed Public University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 25 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ At least 25 Years' experience. Preferably in minimum 50MW HFO Based IPP Power Plant.
∎ He will report to his next superior. (Project Director/ CEO)
∎ Responsible for coordination and/or performing all plant maintenance & operation performed in the plant.
∎ Responsible for troubleshoot, repair and maintenance all plant equipment as required supporting plant operation.
∎ Plan upcoming maintenance and manage spare inventory.
∎ Ensure work place safety, procedure and checklist to be followed by his subordinate.
∎ Follow company policy, security and cost effectiveness.
∎ Any other instructions and orders as directed by the superior authority.
∎ Follow other jobs assigned by superiors.
∎ For Marine Engineers - must have served as Chief Engineer of Sea Going vessels.
∎ Must have thorough knowledge on Operation & Maintenance of 4-Stroke Diesel/HFO/GAS Engines including all kinds of associated auxiliary machinery of power plant of at least 50MW capacity or large ocean going ships.
∎ Must have credible Leadership Traits with excellent Managerial/Administrative quality and crisis handling to lead a Power Plant.
∎ He must be good computer literate and knowledge of Auto CAD and Power Point.
∎ Experience in Erection work of Power Station, Working with EPC contractor and running of Power Station with liaison maintaining of BPDB offices is required.
∎ Supervise and control the plant's functions in association with the departmental heads.
∎ Capability to Operate and maintain the Power Plant in a manner to achieve the monthly Plant Factor and Availability of the Plant as per the Power Purchase Agreement(PPA).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 62 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicant with experience in Natural Gas/HFO based Power Plant on erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance is preferred.
∎ Should posses excellent personality and leadership quality.
∎ Must be thorough in high level effective communication skills including email correspondences with higher management.
∎ Must be very good in planning and management of Mechanical/Electrical/Operation engineering matters of a medium size Natural Gas / HFO based power plant.
∎ Proven to have a strong health, safety, environmental and compliance background.
∎ Understand planning of work tasks and inclusive of parts, materials etc.
∎ Promote team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient, quality and effective plant/facility operations.
∎ Should have the knack of teaching and sharing the experience and knowledge with the subordinates.
