Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering degree from reported public university with minimum 3 years or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 5 (five) years of working experience in
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Engineering Firm, Industrial Machines ( Generator, Operation & Maintenance, power plant
Job Responsibilities:
∎ He will report to his next superior.
∎ Responsible for coordination and/or performing all plant maintenance & operation performed in the plant.
∎ Responsible for troubleshoot, repair and maintenance all plant equipment as required supporting plant operation.
∎ Keep informed the Control Room Shift Engineer for any abnormality and corrective measures taken by him. Inform the Shift Engineer whether Maintenance Engineer's presence is required to attend the problem.
∎ Replenish/top up the lube oil, coolant, Hydraulic Oil and Feed Water to the system as and when necessary.
∎ Take readings of all the gauges and parameters at prescribed intervals during Maintenance & Operation and record in the respective Log Books.
∎ To keep the machinery space and Control Room tidy and clean after maintenance/Operation.
∎ To write all the relevant events of the shift in the Shift Log Book including any pending actions to be taken in the next shift for Shift engineer.
∎ Ensure proper Handing/Taking over of the duties among the senior operators of the relieving and the next shift for Shift engineer.
∎ Plan with the Plant Manager regarding upcoming maintenance and raise spare requisition for that.
∎ Ensure work place safety, procedure and checklist followed for any Electrical/ Mechanical/Operation job.
∎ Follow company policy, security and cost effectiveness.
∎ Any other instructions and orders as directed by the superior authority.
∎ Electrical & Maintenance experienced of Power Station Machinery, Substation and Electrical Machinery including Alternators, Control Panel, Protection Devices, Switch-gears, Motors, Fans etc preferred.
∎ He must be good computer literate and knowledge of Auto CAD and Power Point.
∎ Experience in Erection work of Power Station, Working with EPC contractor and and running of Power Station with liaison maintaining of BPDB offices is required.
∎ Follow other jobs assigned by superiors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 to 4 Years' working experience in at least 50MW Power Plant.
∎ The applicant with experience in Natural Gas / HFO based Power Plant on erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance is preferred.
∎ Should posses excellent personality and leadership quality.
∎ Must be thorough in high level effective communication skills including email correspondences with higher management.
∎ Must be very good in planning and management of Mechanical/Electrical/Operation engineering matters of a medium size Natural Gas / HFO based power plant.
∎ Proven to have a strong health, safety, environmental and compliance background.
∎ Understand planning of work tasks and inclusive of parts, materials etc.
∎ Promote team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient, quality and effective plant/facility operations.
∎ Should have the knack of teaching and sharing the experience and knowledge with the subordinates.
