Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Engineering Firm, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Operation Maintenance, power plant

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for coordination and/or performing all plant maintenance performed in the plant.
∎ Responsible for troubleshoot, repair and maintenance all plant equipment as required supporting plant operation.
∎ Keep informed the Control Room Shift Engineer for any abnormality and corrective measures taken by yourself or whether to be done by the Shift Engineer or whether Maintenance Engineer's presence is required to attend the problem.
∎ Replenish/top up the lube oil, coolant, Hydraulic Oil and Feed Water to the system as and when necessary.
∎ Take readings of all the gauges and parameters at a prescribed intervals and record in the respective Log Books.
∎ To keep the machinery space and Control Room tidy and clean during the shift.
∎ To write all the relevant events of the shift in the Shift Log Book including any pending actions to be taken in the next shift.
∎ Ensure proper Handing/Taking over of the duties among the senior operators of the relieving and the next shift.
∎ Any other instructions and orders as directed by the superior authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience of working in power plant.
∎ Must have working knowledge about all the operating system and controls (electrical, mechanical & elector-mechanical), Electrical Distribution System, supervision of the running machinery (main & auxiliary).
∎ Must be fully conversant with the Single Line Diagram of the Plants Power Generation & Evacuation System.
∎ Must be fully conversant with the P&ID of the following system relating to the Simple Cycle Operation:
∎ Must be fully conversant with all the system valves, switches, emergency stops etc of the main and auxiliary machinery, Boilers, Breakers etc. and to deal with the emergency situation of the running machinery.
∎ Should be fully conversant with the systems and the sequence of operations of Fuel Transfer Pumps, HFO Separators, Lube Oil Separators, and Oily Water Treatment Plant.
∎ To be able to contact with the NLDC Authority (land and Mobile Phone numbers) at time of any need.
