Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in SCM
∎ CSCM/ PGDSCM will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sound knowledge about International Trade Policies.
∎ Ensure sourcing, negotiating and purchasing quality materials from the right, reputed & reliable vendors at low cost for smooth business operation.
∎ Ensure all goods and services purchased comply with company procurement policy & procedure.
∎ Searching potential suppliers and closely work with sales dept. and ensure good quality product supply with the market's lowest price.
∎ Ensure Comparative Statement for all purchases, negotiating prices, Terms and conditions with the supplier and establishing PO.
∎ Coordinate with plant's stores, users and follow up on material flow on time.
∎ Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
∎ Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
∎ Coordinate with concerned Department, C & F Agents, and Transport Agency after the arrival of the consignments at the port for ensuring a smooth delivery of the same to the concerned factory.
∎ Manage integrated Process among operations, Procurement, finance, logistics and others to ensure effective supply chain functions.
∎ Lead supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
∎ Warehouse capacity planning, safety stock planning, Contingency, disaster recovery planning., Inventory management and control
∎ Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
∎ Execute, Coordinate, Monitor and Manage L/C related works with L/C opening banks and liaison with c&f
∎ To ensure all commercial activities (L/C terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, communication with parties) through overseas communication.
∎ Responsible for preparing documents as per L/C terms & conditions.Damaged/expired/rejected/redundant/non-moving or unusable stock and managing their disposal in time as per company policy.
∎ Formulate procurement plan for raw materials and chemicals for maintaining uninterrupted production in the factories.
∎ Ensure Maximum profitability of the organization through optimum utilization of resources, just in time delivery of product and materials and maintaining Economic order Qty. (EOQ).
∎ Any other duties assigned by Management
