Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from BUET or any other Leading Engineering University [Local or Overseas University (preferable)]
∎ M.sc in Civil Engineering is preferable
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and Maintain Professional Relationship with the Respective Client Departments, Local & International Project Consultants, and Value Chain Partners.
∎ Tender Participations and Evaluating tender submissions in regards to technical and financial criteria (Intelligent bidding ability)
∎ Responsible for execution of the projects as per approved designs & drawings, technical specifications and contractually, for all architectural, civil & structural works, electrical (both LT & HT), mechanical, fire detection & protection, fire-fighting, plumbing & sanitary works etc.
∎ Sound Knowledge of detailing all types of R.C.C and steel structures.
∎ Provide regular feedback to the higher authority (through EVP/CE) related to construction progress and problems and resolve those problems as per guideline of the management. Also responsible for reporting the deviation & variations of the contracts.
∎ Evaluate performance of existing contractors and recommend higher authority to engage proper Contractors for the any works and monitor their performance. Also responsible for resolving all technical issues through RFI to various clients
∎ Preparation and implementation of Project Implementation Schedule as per targets set by Management.
∎ Provide the on-job Trainings to site engineers/supervisors/technical staff and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) instructions and its compliances.
∎ Conduct regular feedback with the other team members (Project Architects, Project Engineers-Electrical and Mechanical & Plumbing) and resolve any technical issues through discussion and RFI.
∎ Planning of Daily/Weekly/Monthly progress reports, Coordination & Monitoring the progress and taking action plan depending upon the needs.
∎ Responsible for joint measurements with contractors for all the civil works and forward the same to the Head of Construction for further necessary actions.
∎ Requires adaptability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while remaining in awareness of completion dates and understanding of management principles, especially of time management.
∎ Liaison with Purchase Department to procure the best available construction materials from the market and ensure timely supply of materials for completion of projects.
∎ Checking and recommending all Project Estimation, BoQ, Comparative Statements etc.
∎ Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or delegated by higher authority.

∎ Retired Executive Engineer from PWD or LGED or City Corporation or Autonomy body
