Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives to drive cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and agreements to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
∎ Develop demand planning processes to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory
∎ Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and delay
∎ Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
∎ Generate regular supply chain performance reports for senior management and also provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
∎ Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
∎ To oversee and work towards improvement of suppliers' performance.
∎ To ensure operations' staff use high quality communications with all vendors, suppliers and contractors.
∎ Proactively lead and empower the supply chain team members to encourage operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
∎ To Identify market behavior, threats & opportunities, competitors' strategy and customer trends to review Supply Chain strategy.
∎ Review and recommend effective SOPs, policies, and practices applicable for an efficient Supply Chain Management Department,
∎ Maintain necessary liaison with all relevant departments and remain up-to-date of future needs.
∎ Prepare monthly / quarterly / yearly or other periodical procurement plans and ensure smooth operations.
∎ Increase the intensity of good relationships with vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders and grow jointly under defined corporate agreements.
∎ Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in order to create a panel of respectable suppliers for the future.
∎ Identify scopes for cost effective supply chain management and keep efficiency records / reports for management review.
∎ Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers, meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, negotiate prices and terms.
∎ Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics.
∎ Responsible for Logistics Control with different Pharmaceutical Company.
