Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed University preferably from BUET/KUET/CUET/RUET/IUT.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Construction
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to and leading a project team;
∎ Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget;
∎ Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations;
∎ Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project;
∎ Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be meet;
∎ Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies;
∎ Resolving any issues or delays related construction of the project;
∎ Hire & manage contractors/subcontractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities;
∎ Evaluate progress and reporting regularly on progress to the management;
∎ Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced in construction of industrial building.
∎ Must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures;
∎ In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles;
∎ Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards;
∎ Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project & AutoCAD;
∎ Familiarity with construction/project management software will be added advantage;
∎ Outstanding communication and negotiation skills;
∎ Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
∎ A team player with leadership abilities to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results;
∎ Garment industry building construction experience is must;
∎ Must have sound knowledge on Accord- Alliance / RSC code.
