Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Cement Industry, Dyeing Factory, Garments, Garments Accessories, Hatchery, Manufacturing (FMCG), Poultry, Shipyard, Spinning
Job Context:
∎ Report to: Chairman & MD
∎ Position Summary:
∎ The Head of Engineering or Chief Engineer position is a key technical person for planning and construction operation of the company. He is responsible for the entire engineering department, from approving project designs and assigning engineers and technicians, ensuring that all safety and structural standards are met throughout the completion of each project. He has to play the key role in a wide range of fields, overseeing the engineers and technicians as they develop designs, approximate costs, and execute their plans with highly technical skills and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will lead a team of Civil Engineers
∎ Will monitor numbers of project & development works at a time
∎ Analysis and design of all structures and facilities as per the latest Codes, focusing on the potential hazards like wind or earthquakes
∎ Need regular visit to ongoing projects
∎ The person will be responsible to ensure building code follow up, costing of constructions and quality of construction
∎ Coordinate activities between project and office
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Having very good ideas about civil work, structural design, project development, sub-contractor management, labour management & time management
