Methodist English Version School is an exclusively full-fledged English Version school affiliated with primary and secondary curriculum in Bangladesh since 2019. The Physical Education (PE) Teacher at MEVS is responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among students, while upholding the school’s strong academic standards.
Key responsibilities :
Design, plan, and deliver physical exercise lessons to students of different age groups (Junior, Mid & Senior Section).
Teach a variety of physical exercise activities, including strength training, aerobic exercise, flexibility, and coordination drills.
Flexible, energetic, and able to motivate students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Monitor students` physical progress, identifying areas of improvement and providing guidance on how to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities by closely supervising all exercises and providing first aid when necessary.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized physical exercise environment (e.g. field, equipment).
Encourage student participation in school sports competitions and local community events.
Support in organizing Annual Sports, inter-house competitions, and extracurricular sports clubs.
Provide mentorship to student athletes and prepare teams tournaments.
Collaborate with Academic and Admin to promote health and fitness across school activities.
