∎ Must have advanced understanding ofbulk materials storage and inventory management best practices.
∎ MUST have at least 5 years of progressive experience in warehousing and material storage, logistics·
∎ Prior experience in Manufacturing and Logistics.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for daily inventory movement of bulk materials while reporting accurate inventories(i.e. grains flat stores, liquid materials tanks).
∎ Responsible to conduct proper receiving and dispatching as per defined SOP’s while maintaining on-time GRN, GDN and GTN.
∎ Responsible for conducting proper & accurate warehousing practices such as bulk material separation to avoid mixing, warehouse capacity utilization, temperature & storage conditions (i.e. fumigation, fans operating, shuffling...etc.)and warehousing tools best deployment assuring safety and quality measure.
∎ Responsible for controlling inventory movement physically, on the system & the documents and on reports daily while assuring zero variances at all times.
∎ Responsible for the grains inventory & operations at flat stores according to the set plans and in close coordination with line manager, production department and logistics units.
∎ Responsible for ensuring product cards are always updated and placed at the right place inside the flat store linked to the inventory at system and reports at all times.
∎ Responsible for assuring proper receiving, dispatching and transfer of material while capturing the weights and inventory conditions at all movements as per given timelines in the SOP’s.
∎ Responsible to maintain proper documentation of receiving, dispatching and transfer of materials as well as to always make sure physical inventory is matching stock records at system and reports.
∎ Responsible for fleet and transportation requirement planning, getting the necessary approval and follow-up to deploy fleet for operations.
∎ Responsible for receiving, dispatching and transfer are well coordinated with internal cross functional departments avoiding any delay in the process.
∎ Responsible for any inventory waste/losses/variances inside the warehouse.
∎ Responsible for the inventory safety and quantities controls in case of outside yards.
∎ Responsible for arranging space availability based on the incoming material plan and consumption plan.
∎ Ensuring POs are receipts on time while coordinating the necessary approvals internally (i.e. Q.C, maintenance…etc.).
∎ Responsible for warehouse access to authorized persons only and ensure safety of any person inside the flat stores.
∎ Coordinate the handling equipment’s requirements with Feedco’s fleet & transportation unit while assuring safety of warehousing & inventory practices, safety standards and handling equipment safety.
∎ Responsible to always comply with SFDA regulations while achieving business sustainability.
∎ Highlight and flag any abnormality in case of stock withdrawals (i.e. consumption).
