Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
∎ Bachelor Degree in any discipline with good academic record.
∎ Educational Requirements may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates who have been working in FSCD for a long time.
∎ Skills Required: Fire Protection and Detection System
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire safety Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be well familiar to set up firefighting equipment as per requirement of Bangladesh Fire Prevention Act.
∎ Should have vast knowledge on fire safety management to ensure fire safety in entire factory area and also maintain CCTV.
∎ Provide fire safety guidelines and plan for evacuation schemes whenever it is necessary.
∎ Monitor and ensure that facilities of fire hydrant, fire pumps, detection systems, FACP/ FACU and take necessary actions.
∎ Daily floor visit for ensuring all type of fire equipment are functional as well as follow up the daily checklist activities.
∎ To ensure In-house fire training for Fire fighters, Rescuers, new employees and security personnel.
∎ Conduct Fire & Emergency evacuation drill as per program to aware all workers & staffs.
∎ Maintain register books for fire & safety equipment procurement;
∎ The FSO Shall review proper identification and labelling requirements on flammable liquid and gas containers and cylinders.
∎ The FSO shall confirm that fire access roads and fire hydrants and/or horizontal standpipes are in place and in service prior to and for the duration of combustible construction and that approved vertical temporary standpipes are installed.
∎ Report to management in case of any risk and also show cause if required.
∎ Conduct firefighting training from Fire Service & Civil Defense authority, if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be familiar with the modern fire safety equipment's for installations and executions.
