Responsibilities & Context:
Design, review, and develop Fire Hydrant Systems and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS) in compliance with relevant codes and standards (NFPA, BNBC, RSC, ACCORD/ALLIANCE where applicable).
Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Conduct BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and material specifications for fire protection systems.
Supervise and coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fire safety systems at project sites.
Ensure proper selection and installation of system components such as pumps, detectors, panels, valves, pipes, hoses, and accessories.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Carry out site inspections, system assessments, and compliance checks.
Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
Support audits, inspections, and certifications related to fire safety systems.
