Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic: (5%)
∎ BYLC’s Strategies and project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained
∎ Support to enhance on to establish strategies for organizational and institutional development, growth, and sustainability
∎ Initiatives to enhance BYLC’s image and leadership role nationally and globally
∎ Follow institutional and program regulatory and adherence of country laws and regulations
∎ Promote and practice BYLC Values (Integrity, Respect Towards Others, Empathy, Excellence in everything We Do, Continuous Development and Practice Adapting Leadership) at all times
∎ Ensure Safeguard and protection of life and dignity of all associated personnel of BYLC as well as the assets and property.
∎ Operational: (80%)
∎ Financial Operational plan for contributing on reviewing/ updating / implementing and promoting
∎ Provide policy guidance to the team so that everybody can use financial and other resources as per policy guidance and make support services and procurement following the guideline and preserved in a safe place.
∎ Communication among team members and stakeholders.
∎ Ensure compliances of donor and organization.
∎ Prepare fund requisition of approved budget and ensure utilization of fund as planned and approved activities.
∎ Checked daily voucher supporting documents, cash book & ledger & other necessary documents and ensure to approve.
∎ Finance & Analytical report preparation and VAT coupon & Tax deduction calculation checking and track and deposit to bank timely by challan.
∎ Verify all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures and Maintains accounting & Administrative controls.
∎ Take initiative to fixed assets purchase, depreciation calculation, or disposal if needed by organization & donor’s rules & regulation; ensure all kinds of assistance when audit conduct.
∎ Support line manager for enlisting vendor, Check purchase/store requisition and take initiative to approval, collect quotations/RFQ
∎ Check logistics and goods through challan (if needed) and ensure quality and quantity.
∎ Ensure deduct Tax and deposit to treasury following NBR rules, ensure payment through invoice/bill.
∎ Ensure all kinds of documents are safe & preserved. Follow up timely to all project areas to ensure it.
∎ Maintain Inventory register for program and Office supplies separately, GRN prepare, ensure receiver signature in the stock register when issued. Prepare Inventory report every end of the month & send it to Head Office.
∎ Follow up & check with movement register for vehicle use & Maintenance timely, Personal use report check & send to HO monthly, Ensure Security.
∎ Organizing transportation, accommodation and other logistic support of visitors & concern authority and managing travel management.
∎ People Management and Relationship Building: (15%)
∎ The Finance & Admin Officer will involve in collaborating with various stakeholders and project team to support smooth implementation as per guideline and financial policy of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ ? Good knowledge and skills on Tally management and familiar with different financial operation software
∎ ? The candidate should have strong financial & administrative skills
∎ ? Excellent communication abilities
∎ ? proven record of accomplishment of successfully managing USAID projects and protocols
∎ ? Excellent skills on report writing, analytical, G Suite (including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive), presentation, advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
∎ ? Strong analytical skills in Accounts, finance & administration. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work with efficiency.
∎ ? Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla, both written & verbally with the ability to report writing.
∎ ? Proficiency and knowledge in financial management tools and software specially used in USAID funded project
∎ ? Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
∎ ? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify & resolve project-related issues and problems.
∎ ? Commitment in delivering high-quality tasks for sustainable impact and promote innovation
∎ ? Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
∎ ? Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
∎ ? Willingness to work in flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role.
