Job Context:
∎ To provide efficient, effective and responsive sexual and reproductive health care, within Family Planning`s philosophy, policies, protocols, standing orders and practices, while ensuring a quality service delivery that is consistent with the aims and values of Family Planning, promoting Family Planning services to existing and potential clients.
∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya
∎ Report to: Clinic Supervisor
∎ Liaise with: Medical Coordinator
∎ Department: Health
∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2021 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will work under the supervision of the clinic supervisor to provide support to the community through the performance of the following duties :
∎ Work co-cooperatively in the identification, development and achievement of team goals
∎ Leads or participates in project groups for Family Planning
∎ Enhances the image of Family Planning in the community
∎ Ensure the availability of all family planning supplies as required in the facility
∎ Maintain records and statistics as required, ensuring accurate statistics are supplied within required time frames
∎ Integrate theoretical knowledge with practice
∎ Communicates clearly and effectively with clients, other staff and those outside Family Planning. Also, communicates issues and ideas clearly and keeps team members, supervisors well informed.
∎ Maintains confidentiality within guidelines set by Family Planning
∎ Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to work with a diverse range of people
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
∎ At least three (1) years' experience in Family Planning or relevant field
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field of refugee health care will be added as advantage.
∎ Effective written and oral communication skills and effective counselling skills
∎ Initiative and the ability to anticipate situations, create opportunities or avoid problems Demonstrated skills in the effective management of resources
∎ Demonstrated teamwork and networking abilities
∎ Computer literacy
∎ Cultural awareness and sensitivity, prior experience in Rohingya camps is preferable
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one Gross salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly Gross salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary
