Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Serve as Center physician in charge of smooth functioning of the Health Care Center, providing exceptional outpatient care;
∎ Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury;
∎ Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions;
∎ Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results;
∎ Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients;
∎ Performs surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency and center facilities;
∎ Refer patients to appropriate specialty when necessary;
∎ Coordinate patient education efforts and liaise between patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals;
∎ Participate in community outreach programs, such as health camps and medical promotional activities, to raise awareness about health and wellness, preventive care, and BRAC healthcare services;
∎ Support public health initiatives and promote healthy living through active involvement in seminars, workshops, and other promotional events within the community;
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment;
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action;
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
