Experience working with international buyers and suppliers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of woven, knit, denim, and performance fabrics.
Responsibilities & Context:
Source and develop fabrics from local and international suppliers.
Manage fabric procurement activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Coordinate with buyers, garment factories, and fabric mills regarding fabric developments and approvals.
Monitor fabric production, testing, quality standards, and shipment schedules.
Negotiate prices, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
Analyze fabric consumption, costing, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and sustainability standards.
Resolve technical and quality issues related to fabrics.
Maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers in Bangladesh, China, and other sourcing markets.
Prepare regular reports on fabric developments, sourcing status, and procurement performance.
