Job Responsibilities:
∎ To collect information about the local non-renowned furniture suppliers (manufacturing companies/workshops)
∎ To visit their factory and assess their capability based on factory’s infrastructure, production capacity, product quality, workforce, expertise, Financial status, testimonial of the buyers etc.
∎ To collect the product catalogue and price from the suppliers
∎ To collect the competitor's product price
∎ To negotiate and fix the furniture price and finalize payment terms with the selected suppliers with the help of the procurement department.
∎ To arrange a DOA signing with the selected suppliers
∎ To develop a price list of the products and set the selling price.
∎ To develop the catalogue of the furniture with the help of the marketing department.
∎ To prepare the estimate/quotation for the client as per the requisition of the SFS sales team.
∎ To provide a purchase order to the suppliers as per the specification of the client’s order via the purchase department
∎ To collect client’s purchase order from the SFS Sales team
∎ To coordinate with the SFS Sales team to collect advance and final payment from the client
∎ To coordinate with the supplier and ensure production and on-time delivery of the furniture
∎ To coordinate purchase and finance department for suppliers’ bill settlement
∎ To develop alternative channels of sales (showroom/retail, dealers, corporate, online)
∎ To develop signature furniture design by SFS architect, collect production cost for manufacturing the furniture and produce prototype product by the suppliers if feasible.
∎ Incorporate the furniture in the product line
∎ To shoot the photographs of the selected furniture with the help of the marketing department.
∎ To arrange HOD's visit to the selected suppliers’ factory for a primary discussion.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Background should be preferably of Furniture Production or Furniture Supply Chain Management.
∎ Preference will be given to the person who have 2-3 years’ experience in production or supply chain of furniture industry.
∎ Should be able to minimum 3 suppliers onboard (preferably in a month max 2 months) to start the service offer.
∎ The person has to have the business development capability.
∎ Should be target oriented.
∎ Should be proactive, align with organizational culture.
Salary: Negotiable
