Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan & optimize vehicle schedules for daily transportation operations, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of goods.
∎ Ensure vehicles are available for scheduled operations, coordinating with fleet management to track and manage the loading & unloading of goods to ensure they are handled efficiently and safely while adhering to vehicle specifications.
∎ Plan optimal routes for deliveries, taking into consideration factors like delivery deadlines, traffic and vehicle capacity.
∎ Ensure all loading, unloading and transportation activities comply with legal, safety and regulatory requirements.
∎ Act as a liaison between drivers, warehouse staff and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and helper.
