Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA/ MBA/ Engineering Background preferably IPE .
∎ PGDSCM or any Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management will be added advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Negotiation Skills, Problem solving and decision making, team work, Time Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies and policies.
∎ Prepare purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
∎ Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
∎ Liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments at factory and corporate office.
∎ Expected to co-ordinate with suppliers as well as with internal departments for timely delivery of materials.
∎ Benchmarking exercise to evaluate industry trend and new supplier selection.
∎ Build and develop relationships with key suppliers.
∎ Collect MRN (Material Received Note) from store.
∎ Evaluate supplier performance and create alternative pool.
∎ Assist superior to produce reports and statistics on spending and saving.
∎ Assist in the operations of purchasing department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Good Communication and interpersonal skills in English & Local language.
∎ Should have good negotiation and sourcing skills to develop alternative vendor.
∎ Candidates must possess the mandatory criteria for integrity.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility & self-motivated & Proactive working attitude.
∎ Strong Negotiation skills.
∎ Candidates must possess good command of office software such as MS Office , SAP.
∎ Adequate Knowledge for the following area:
∎ Ceramics/logistics/transport/mechanical/electrical/local raw materials such as bearing, belt, chains, safety items, pneumatics/hydraulics items, pipes and fittings, tools & tackle, rubber items, jacks, pulleys etc. and others local fabricated items shafts, pinion, gear, hose etc.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
