Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in Industrial Production Engineering (IPE) or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
∎ PGD in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct market analyses to select and enlist vendors, and negotiate competitive prices to procure products at reasonable, market-competitive prices.
∎ Prepare purchase orders and all necessary documentation, completing required procedures within the specified time frame.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely product specifications during procurement to minimize the rejection of purchased items.
∎ Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including Request for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Tender (RFT), Request for Proposal (RFP), contract negotiations, and supplier selection.
∎ Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring the timely entry of all purchase records into the ERP system.
∎ Develop and implement robust risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate procurement efforts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ Prior working experience in the FMCG/Agri Industry will be preferred.
∎ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Familiarity with ERP systems, e.g. SAP/Oracle, and associated workflow, data management, reporting.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
∎ Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
