Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders.
∎ Ensure timely procurement of materials, goods, and services.
∎ Monitor and track order deliveries, resolving any delays or discrepancies.
∎ Analyze market trends and ensure cost-effective procurement.
∎ Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
∎ Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
∎ Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new vendors.
∎ Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
∎ Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
∎ Work closely with finance for payment processing and cost verification.
∎ Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels.
