Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Star Pipes & Plastics Ltd. is a prominent manufacturer of exportable UPVC pipes, fittings, and household plastic items. We are committed to delivering premium quality products to global markets. To enhance our distribution operations, we are looking for a proactive and organized Executive (Distribution) to join our team.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ • Delivery Scheduling: Plan and schedule vehicles to ensure on-time delivery of products to clients and distributors.
∎ • Documentation: Prepare and issue delivery challans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
∎ • Vehicle Assignment: Assign delivery vehicles and coordinate with drivers to optimize delivery routes and logistics efficiency.
∎ • Supply Chain Support: Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline the movement of goods from warehouses to delivery points.
∎ • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any delivery-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, or logistics challenges.
∎ • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels for distribution.
∎ • Compliance: Ensure all distribution activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
∎ Qualifications and Skills:
∎ • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
∎ • Proven experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector (Plastics& Polymer).
∎ • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
∎ • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and logistics software.
∎ • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
∎ • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
