Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from reputed University.
∎ Must have a good academic record.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Installation and Maintenance, mechanical maintenance, Operation and Maintenance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent has to be responsible for the overall maintenance of the group having operations in different locations around Dhaka City.
∎ Direct and supervise overall departmental operations and administrative tasks.
∎ Devise, install and monitor effective preventive, predictive and emergency maintenance systems to reduce machine/equipment/plant downtime and improve productivity at all levels.
∎ Direct and supervise team effectively to minimize downtime of machines in production departments. Ensure the overall operations of the machinery at optimum speed.
∎ Monitor Inspection of drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
∎ Identify all new machine requirements, select, and obtain approval from the top management.
∎ Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary and take action in case of production-related/machine-related problems in the factory and solve them accordingly.
∎ Examine maintenance records and repair work performed and the costs of the work.
∎ Maintain a minimum stock level of spare parts and cost for spare parts consumption.
∎ Proper placing of foreign indent and local indent of spare parts. Ensure new spare parts making as required for production and for smooth operation.
∎ Innovate and suggest appropriate technological advancements and new attachments suited to increase productivity.
∎ Take up new engineering projects as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 60 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience in the RMG sector.
∎ English language proficiency in both written and spoken.
