Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge on and familiar with L/C & BTB L/C terms & conditions, PI/ Indent to L/C processing & Opening.
∎ Knowledge on and familiar with import against L/C and export on local LC.
∎ Knowledge on and familiar with HS Code of imported goods as per tariff schedule.
∎ Preparing and updating weekly & monthly LC status.
∎ Capability to prepare PI, CI, COO, AWB, BL on behalf of supplier.
∎ Follow-up & Coordinating with C&F agents, Banks, Freight Forwarders & Transporters to get imported goods on time.
∎ Arrange necessary permission / NOC from concerned govt. authority for smooth vessel berthing & goods clearance.
∎ Proper LC follow-up from the beginning to the arrival of shipment.
∎ Checking LC drafts, shipping documents & other relevant documents for importing of goods.
∎ Overseas (import) purchase related Commercial activities through different types of Letter of Credit / Work Order and Banking formalities.
∎ Ordering of necessary goods and services, Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries to warehouse or project side.
∎ Support all the departments' in Commercial activities such as the tender process, grant requirements, supplier relationships and contract management for goods and services.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous work experience in a similar position is preferred.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English.
∎ Excellent people skill and multiple client handling capability.
∎ Must have experience in operating Microsoft Office.
