Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from any reputed public university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform routine electrical maintenance on machines used in the manufacturing process, including particle boards, doors, and plywood production equipment.
∎ Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues that may arise during production, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing productivity.
∎ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, mechanical, store etc., to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other plant operations.
∎ Develop and implement electrical safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ Manage and supervise a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their work meets quality and safety standards.
∎ Plan and oversee electrical installations and upgrades, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
∎ Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing electrical systems, equipment, and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and electrical system documentation.
∎ Maintain attendance and leave of the non-management employees of the department.
∎ Any other task assigned by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ At least 3 years of practical experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the wood products industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and power distribution.
∎ Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
∎ Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
∎ Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
∎ Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
