Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
∎ Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to gather information and clarify project details.
∎ Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for interior construction and renovation projects, including structural, architectural, and finishing components.
∎ Analyze project specifications and identify any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Research and obtain quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
∎ Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including itemized breakdowns of materials, labor hours, equipment rental, and other expenses.
∎ Work closely with project teams to review cost estimates, address any concerns or questions, and ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines.
∎ Update and maintain records of cost estimates, including revisions, change orders, and project variations.
∎ Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, track expenses against budgets, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
∎ Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid documents, reviewing bids from subcontractors, and assisting with bid negotiations
