Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
∎ Develop and refine designs of mechanical components and assemblies.
∎ Ensure all drawings and designs comply with industry standards and specifications.
∎ Assume full responsibility for the tool-room operations.
∎ Oversee the maintenance, organization, and inventory of tools and equipment.
∎ Implement and enforce safety protocols within the tool room.
∎ Prepare and manage store stock inventory.
∎ Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely reordering of supplies.
∎ Develop and maintain indent systems to track material requirements and usage.
∎ Design functional spare parts and components to meet specific operational needs.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
∎ Conduct testing and analysis to validate design functionality and performance.
∎ Oversee and coordinate departmental activities to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
