Additional Requirements:
∎ • Minimum 2 Years of experience in similar industry and in the same job role.
∎ • Experience in 2-wheeler manufacturing welding shop, boarding shop, and machine shop.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Plan, organize and direct all activities of manufacturing to deliver the volume and quality targets of production.
∎ • Adequate knowledge in paint shop (shot blasting, PTCED, Powder Coating) / Fabshop / Vehicle assembly process.
∎ • Expertise in the operation of the Transporter, setting Cycle time & Takt time, Fine tuning of the process.
∎ • Skill sets to achieve the utilization targets and effective quality pass ratio by deploying best quality practices and systems in the operation.
∎ • Ensure that required resources are made available by coordinating with respective teams to achieve the production plans.
∎ • Could be able to provide Control plan, FMEA, Process flow chart and SOP for the above operations.
∎ • Training of operators on Spraying technique, process flow and intended quality levels.
∎ • Handling experience on analytic tools like DFT gauge, PH meter, conductivity meter, TTR, Gloss meter and other measurement gauges required for Paint film properties check.
∎ • Approve maintenance job schedule, to minimize down time and improve OEE.
∎ • Implement a culture of self-directed operating teams and maintain a safe and conducive work environment
∎ • Robot welding / Welding
∎ • Weld fixturing
∎ • Knowledge about Product drawing understanding
∎ • Manpower handling
∎ • Review production data and guide shop managers to meet targets
∎ • Implement corrective actions to keep costs within budget and production loss under target levels by continuous review of data.
∎ • Ensure that quality control practices are adhered to in the plant.
∎ • Implement various quality, process, productivity improvement initiatives such as ISO, TQM, lean manufacturing within the agreed timelines.
∎ • Ensure all safety and statutory compliances with respect to the operations in consultation with the Manager Safety and Business unit HR.
∎ • Oversee safety initiatives and ensure adherence to prescribed safety rules.
