Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ • Minimum 5 Years of experience in similar role working in the maintenance function in a factory.
∎ • Experience in 2-wheeler manufacturing factory with 3 years of experience in leading a team.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Prepare the plan for overall maintenance activities (preventive, predictive and total production) of the plant- process, machines, utilities, civil and environment.
∎ • Monitor plant wise monthly SKU adherence for Engine Assembly and M Shop.
∎ • Monitor & control budget of category wise manufacturing variable cost such as rejection cost per bike, power cost per bike, consumable cost per bike.
∎ • Lead energy conversation projects for powertrain by replacement of induction motors with Brushless DC motors, waste heat recovery from air compressor-machine shop.
∎ • Conduct stock monitoring on a weekly basis (Implementing vector flow system in full)
∎ • Track metrics such as production loss attributed to maintenance, mean time to time repair (MTTR) for critical equipment, mean time between failures (MTBF) and ensure reduction in these areas.
∎ • Monitor dashboard and ensure adherence to targets and timelines
∎ • Knowledge about robot/welding power source/PLC
∎ • Exposure in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics
∎ • Knowledge in Energy Management/GAS/ Consumables
∎ • Ensure inventory controls for high value items, consumables & critical equipment’s spare parts
∎ • Review documentation to ensure compliance to relevant statutory compliances (Electricity boards, municipal factory licenses)
∎ • Lead digitization initiatives such as Digitization of history cards on all products lines, Powertrain projects thereby improving productivity
∎ • Drive employee engagement by leading people development via succession planning, training and development, regular feedback/follow up & reward programs etc.
∎ • Drive uninterrupted business delivery by managing positive ER scenario thereby reducing loss of man-days due to ER/Health & safety issues
∎ • Ensure safe working conditions in the plant during & after the maintenance activities and compliance with population control standards and other relevant statues.
