Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of sub-station systems and farm electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
∎ Supervise the electrical wiring and construction of control panels for three-phase (TP) and single-phase (SP) motors.
∎ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
∎ Monitor and enhance machine performance to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
∎ Review, verify, and consolidate requisitions for equipment and spare parts to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
∎ Conduct hands-on training and technical development programs for farm technicians, promoting skill enhancement and performance improvement.
∎ Maintain safety standards and compliance with all electrical codes and regulatory requirements.
∎ Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and electrical system diagrams.
∎ Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and potential areas for improvement.
∎ Collaborate with farm managers and engineering teams to support continuous improvement in farm infrastructure.
