Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager in the field of Electrical Engineering to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting electrical engineering projects, ensuring their successful execution and completion. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing and Developing Machinery: Mechanical engineers are involved in designing and developing machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. They may create 2D or 3D models, conduct simulations, and analyze the feasibility of designs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
∎ Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Mechanical engineers are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the machinery and equipment in the factory. They may conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and fix mechanical issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and replacements.
∎ Process Improvement: Mechanical engineers often analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement. They may propose and implement modifications to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, increase productivity, or improve product quality. This can involve optimizing workflows, redesigning machine components, or implementing automation technologies.
∎ Quality Control and Assurance: Mechanical engineers play a crucial role in quality control and assurance processes. They may develop and implement quality standards, inspect finished products, conduct tests and measurements, and analyze data to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
∎ Project Management: In some cases, mechanical engineers in factories may be involved in project management activities. This can include overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring project objectives are met.
∎ Compliance with Safety Regulations: Mechanical engineers must ensure that the machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes comply with relevant safety regulations and standards. They may conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and provide training to staff on safe operation and maintenance practices.
