Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required.
∎ Providing molded components in a timely manner in order to ensure production and R&D schedules are met.
∎ Work with outside vendor to develop tooling and fixtures that result in the manufacturing of high-quality products.
∎ Work with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing Departments during concept, prototyping, and release of new products.
∎ Draft and perform mold validations.
∎ Process modifications in mold drawing.
∎ Manage and source mold spare parts.
∎ Assist new and current programs to continually improve the manufacturing process and development process of recommendation that will create efficiency in a clean and safe plant environment.
∎ Plan and coordinate with Manager, Maintenance for technical activities throughout the facilities to provide support to the production operations through design, implementation and training.
∎ Manages the Maintenance function activities and personnel as per directed by Manager Maintenance.
∎ Ensure process control and troubleshooting support.
∎ Make a plan for repair and maintenance expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Evaluate and recommend equipment to implement new programs, specify equipment necessary for capital improvements.
∎ Assigns work tasks to subordinate staff, monitors and a review result, and is responsible for selection, training, and performance.
∎ Actively participate in all safety-related activities, audits, inspections, meetings and training programs.
∎ Analyze Machine downtime causes and plan corrective action to enhance production and productivity.
∎ Additional tasks and responsibilities may be given, as per requirement from Technical Head, in addition to your core job as listed above.
∎ Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.
∎ Have the ability to generate meaningful reports and analyses to present to the Technical Head.
∎ The self-initiative mentality to develop the department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have practical knowledge in Auto CAD 2D/ 3D and understand any kind of mechanical drawing.
∎ Should know various types of welding.
∎ Must have a passion to develop a career in the Mechanical/ Maintenance department.
∎ Willing to work hard.
∎ Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint) is mandatory.
∎ Willing to stay in Chattogram.
∎ Willing to develop a career in plastic mold technology.
