Job Context:
∎ IHI-SMCC JV, a Joint Venture of two Japanese Multinational Companies for the Construction of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge, Package: WD-2, under Bangladesh Railway Department (BR) and financed by People`s Republic of Bangladesh and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
∎ We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical QAQC Engineer for our QAQC Team.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Shall have the knowledge to interpret approved drawings, International and local standards in Electrical Works Discipline
∎ Must have experience in Site Construction in Electrical Works
∎ Shall have practical experience in preparing Method Statements (MS), ITP, QA/QC Plans, Material Approval Documents, Functional Testing requirements &, etc.
∎ Prepare, issue, and approval of RFI, NCR, and QAQC Reports
∎ Shall have the mentality to work in office, site and liaise as needed to do inspection externally
∎ Coordinating with the site member to manage/execute site inspection with consultant representatives
∎ Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with the design drawings and specifications; prompt reporting of non-compliances
∎ Assist in ensuring all record documents as specified in the technical specifications
∎ Communicate with 3rd party testing/inspection agency to execute required work/inspection
∎ Self-motivated with minimum supervision and able to work with a team of staff at different levels in a cooperative, proactive & innovative manner.
∎ Any other task as assigned by the appropriate authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Relevant experience in QAQC work, especially document preparation in the field of Electrical discipline.
∎ Shall have working experience in the construction industry/project
∎ Experience in Electrical Sub-station construction work, and transportation monitoring control work will be an additional advantage
∎ Shall be proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic software.
∎ Candidates without the above/related experience no need to apply.

Salary: Negotiable

∎ Mobile bill, Over time allowance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Regular work time: 8:00 - 17:00 (Saturday- Thursday).
∎ Food and accommodation are provided by the company.
