Job Responsibilities:
∎ Electrical Lead/Manager to perform various tasks in management of Electrical works for the 718 MW (net) CCPP at Meghnaghat (the "Project") undertaken by the Company in relation to construction and commissioning of the Project. It includes technical coordination with EPC contractor, Owners', lenders' technical advisor ad any necessary counter parties in relation to the Project, provided that such coordination shall be under supervision and instruction of the Construction Manager.
∎ 1. Execute the Electrical engineering works at site applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, & techniques to perform activities/assignments that may include a variety of complex features under Construction Manager's instruction.
∎ 2. Coordinate and support related to all activities of the Electrical engineering team together with Construction Manager.
∎ 3. Review electrical design and drawings
∎ 4. Preparation of SOPs and SMPs
∎ 5. Guide and train direct reports.
∎ 6. Conduct technical site meetings with the EPC contractor as necessary in order to discuss and resolve problems.
∎ 7. Follow up, monitor and expedite the progress of the Electrical works by the EPC contractor and regularly report to the Construction Manager.
∎ 8. Confirm the construction milestone progress of Electrical works to settle the invoices of the EPC milestone payments.
∎ 9. Ensure implementation of Quality Assurance Plan by the EPC Contractor and witness site inspections as required
∎ 10. Ensure that materials/parts related Electrical works is supplied in accordance with the relevant contractual obligations.
∎ 11. Manage the Electrical works and follow up with EPC contractor in order to keep the project timeline within schedule.
∎ 12. Cross discipline coordination and support
∎ 13. Regarding Electrical works, provide recommendations for the issuance of all acceptance certificates.
∎ 14. Regarding Electrical works, provide recommendations and prepare contractual variations and change orders for technical part relevant to the construction works, if any.
∎ 15. Regarding Electrical works, witness of testing, commissioning and performance tests of the plant to ensure that the tests are correctly performed according to the approved procedures.
∎ 16. Ensure implementation HSE plan and ESMP
∎ 17. Provide support to the Construction Manager in dealing with the EPC contractor, sub-contractors and locals
∎ 18. Prepare reports for reporting to management, lenders, Lenders' Advisors and other agencies as may be required
∎ 19. Coordination with Government Authorities as needed
∎ 20. Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards
∎ 21. Any other task as assigned by the Construction Manager/ Management.
