Responsibilities & Context:
The responsibilities of the student counselor include supporting the emotional and professional growth of students, developing and monitoring counseling support programs, and providing educational and vocational guidance.
To be a successful student counselor, you should treat all students with patience and compassion for the challenges they are facing.
Ultimately, a top-notch student counselor has a strong level of social perceptiveness, is gently persuasive, and has the ability to make students feel safe and secure.
Maintain communication with the respective counselors.
Communicate with students and collect their required documents for visa applications.
Review and verify if documents sent by students are in the right order.
Maintain records of the student`s documentation.
Update the daily processing work activities.
Communicate with clients face-to-face or over the phone regarding their application step.
Other duties as assigned.
