Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Electrical/ I&C Engineering from a recognized college/university/institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing work with these things in mind: Safety, Reliability & Cost control.
∎ Execution of routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities as per schedule.
∎ Hands on Experience on Gas turbine and Gas turbine generator Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance work, its protection and interlock system.
∎ Must have experience on GT control system maintenance work, GT Fuel and governing system.
∎ Maintenance and troubleshooting experience on Steam turbine control system, bypass system, its instrumentation and Steam turbine generator protection system.
∎ Clear concept on GT and ST start-up as well as CCPP start-up.
∎ Experience on protection relay co-ordination, calculation, test and troubleshooting.
∎ Proven experience on DCS system (preferably Emerson-Ovation), PLC and HMI's.
∎ Highly accurate on different types of instrument like PT,TE's, LIT, RMS, CEMS and control valves calibration.
∎ Plant different system and utilities condition monitoring, preventive and predictive maintenance having strong commitment towards HSE.
∎ Experience on transformers (more than 300 MVA), GIS, 230 KV substation, MV & LV switchgear is highly preferable.
∎ Updating the Manager on job progress as well as the difficulty faced in carrying out the work.
∎ Giving feedback on spares requirement, work improvement methods etc.
∎ Ensuring reliability and availability of equipment through strict adherence to vendor recommendations and good engineering practices.
∎ Assist Supervisor in job planning & preparation.
∎ Participate in safety meetings and safety walkabout to ensure Safe working environment for all.
∎ Ensuring that contract workforce are working safely, adhering to safe work practices and company rules & regulations.
∎ Assist Supervisor in spare part planning and procurement.
∎ Performing plant walkabout in terms of safety and equipment health monitoring and giving feedback of any abnormalities found.
∎ Participate as a member of company's Emergency Response Plan.
∎ Execute Corrective, Preventive and Predictive maintenance activities in a Safe, Reliable & Cost Effective Manner.
∎ Participate in Safety Programs and SMART programs organized by other Departments.
∎ Updating Supervisor on job progress and improvement ideas.
∎ Assist Engineers on planning, spares identification and execution.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years experiences in a combined cycle power plant or similar industry. (GT/ST and HRSG)
∎ Good engineering knowledge in control and instrumentation field. Computer literacy with MS office application is a must.
∎ Good Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
