Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of riverbank protection projects.
∎ Monitor daily site activities, progress, and resource allocation.
∎ Supervise construction activities including earthworks, revetment, geotextile placement, riprap, and related civil works.
∎ Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
∎ Ensure all construction work complies with environmental, health, and safety standards.
∎ Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, and quality checklists.
∎ Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.·
∎ Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
∎ Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders as needed.
∎ Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
