COURIER SERVICE, Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Ecommerce logistics, International Logistics, or Warehouse management experience

Inventory/Warehouse, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Supply Chain
Job Responsibilities:
∎ AOP adherence:
∎ Create a plan with the sales team after understanding the demand capacity necessity to manage sales volume.
∎ Decide on the resources required to meet the demands and decide the workforce and transport facilities necessary to reach the volumes and ensure shipments are delivered and received within timelines.
∎ Strategic Planning: Conceptualizing & implementing plans / strategies to facilitate smooth operations. Planning, scoping, estimating, tracking & implementing plans within preset budgets.
∎ Performance review:
∎ Monitor the performances of the FM/LM hubs and review them every week, and take actions accordingly
∎ Regional level management of processing of consignments through our hubs and timely connection and retrieval of the load in the scheduled routes (Road and Air network).
∎ Management of load processing at bag and shipment Level. (Experience of handling warehouses and the complete circle of shipment/bag/box).
∎ Management of ready volumes for connection and monitoring Connection variance to avoid any HUB / DC pendency
∎ Logistics: Managing logistics operations involving coordination with vehicle team, co-loaders, station team and other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions.
∎ Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and suggest improvements or resolutions to problems of HUB / DC and Network and also do data analysis & suggest Plans based on data analysis to control cost & improve service level.
∎ Process and Quality Training:
∎ Keep track of the new standard operating procedures and liaise with Process Quality Trainers to ensure that proper training is imparted in all the clusters.
∎ Conduct audit regularly too check to the adherence to the SOPs.
∎ Process adherence (5 S Process for standardization of all HUB across the Region)
∎ Resolution of queries, Improve SOPs, policies, and practices so as to achieve the company's goals and ensure regional hubs adhere to company-wide laid down rules and guidelines
∎ Implementation of Lean management techniques for hub management.
∎ Ensuring workplace Safety and security:
∎ Coordinate with Asset Protection Team to get details of the frauds and tampered shipments and any other security-related issues & find solutions.
∎ Ensure all the facilities are available to all the hubs by coordinating with the facility team.
∎ Ensure all EHS and regulatory and statutory compliance.
∎ Expansion of hubs:
∎ Scout for new properties and vendors; evaluating and finding pin codes that are serviceable by communicating with the real estate team.
∎ To deal with rent agreements and all the license-related issues.
∎ Manpower management:
∎ To acquire workforce and take decisions regarding the onboarding, attrition, disciplinary actions, and welfare-related activities and align them to the ongoing processes.
∎ Excellent Leadership skills to keep their employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions
∎ Manage onboarding and training of Delivery Executives and Sorters through Station Managers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven work experience as in warehouse management
∎ Expertise in warehouse management procedures with best practices
∎ Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
∎ Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
∎ Leadership skills and ability manage staff
∎ Strong decision making and problem solving skills
