Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc / M.Sc degree in Civil Engineering degree from any reputed Public University
∎ Should be a qualified RAJUK registered Structural Engineer.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Auto CAD Designing, Building & Factory Design With 3d Visualization, Civil Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Designing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Technical Infrastructure
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive all Architectural drawings from the Architect to prepare facilities for all structural design works by the design Section.
∎ Liaison and coordinate Design Section/Consultants to receive all drawings from them.
∎ Check the drawings provided by the Design Section/Consultant as per standard check lists.
∎ Sign on drawings if needed.
∎ Collect Clients' Deed of Agreements, Lists of Standard Features, Commitments of Sales Team and incorporate those in design properly.
∎ Preserve and record all kinds of drawings.
∎ Cross check all the structural designs supplied by the Design Section/Consultants with the analysis supplied by them.
∎ Study all structural drawings thoroughly in terms of safety and economical points of views standardized by the Management.
∎ Update all structural changes as projects' progresses and prepare As-Built drawings once the projects are completed.
∎ Liaison with Project Managers and Site Engineers and provide necessary technical supports.
∎ Check physical soil conditions of sites during earth excavation and guide the field Team to ensure safety of the projects.
∎ Record optional/modification works given by SED and arranging to get those done.
∎ Coordinate field activities with design changes and internal scheduling.
∎ Any other jobs as instructed by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Area of Expertise: Structural design (RCC & Steel), Structural Assessment, Finite Element Analysis, Soil Mechanics, Manual design calculation, Preparation of BOQ, Estimation, Rate Analysis
∎ 6+ Years' experience in structural design of building & existing building assessment.
∎ Should have working knowledge of design software's like Etabs, AutoCAD, SAFE, SAP, Staad-pro etc.
∎ Handful knowledge and experience on application of compliance of different regulatory body like RAJUK, Accord, Alliance, Fire Dept following codes of BNBC, ACI, UBC, ASTM, AWS etc.
∎ Working knowledge on Estimation, BOQ, Rate analysis, Technical Report and Tender Documents.
∎ Effective communication skill to manage internal/external stakeholders.
∎ Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work in harmony with co-workers.
∎ Eager and Willing to Add to Their Knowledge Base and Skills, Problem solving skills, Loyalty.
∎ Must have good knowledge on Microsoft Office.
∎ Advance level knowledge in MS Excel is required
