Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for framing Supply Network Design and ensure the consistent application of the organization International Supply Network Design (SND) Methodology for designing and updating logistics network within the Region.
∎ Will interact with country & category leadership to identify opportunities for application of the SND methodology.
∎ Capability to optimize the end-to-end Logistics Network, taking into account the intermediate and long-term portfolio, route-to-market, customer and growth strategies.
∎ Will play an active role in continuing to teach the CS&L leadership in the region about SND methods and best practices.
∎ Capability to develop and analyse network alternatives, deliver recommended optimized solutions.
∎ Capability to rapidly evaluate changes in the Region's Logistics network footprint.
∎ Evaluate series of alternative to determine the best overall solution considering cash, cost and service.
∎ Present supply network design proposals and gain alignment with business units and integrated supply chain leadership; align network roadmaps with growth and capital strategies (including SCR)
∎ Acts as key point of contact for SCR team, and support associated modelling of logistics network impacts from various restructuring and optimization proposals.
∎ Builds a data base that allows increasingly nimble and quick response to various SND requests
∎ Design supply chain with a business view of 2-3 years which is scalable, modular and can be replicated across assets.
∎ Follow customer requirements, competition, market developments and trends in technology and state of the art ecommerce retail logistics management and their impact on the planned future state of the network.
∎ Understand the future impact of the business development on logistics requirements in the existing networks and proactively simulate and suggest changes for optimization.
∎ Solid experience and In-depth understanding of FC processes with a track record of successful program/project delivery using design-thinking methodologies/ framework, tools and techniques.
∎ Manage region specific distribution network redesign projects by applying proven best practices, market understanding and making the best use of resources.
∎ Provide thought leadership in emerging application technologies (i.e., Cloud, API, IoT, API, Ux, Robotics, Machine Learning and AI) that would have an impact on supply chain & logistics transformation and disruption and the ecommerce industry. Ensure that ORGANIZATION stays ahead of the curve.
∎ Drive continuous improvement through innovation.
∎ Design best in the class network for e-commerce operations in domestic and international routes which includes but not limited to strategic network designs, standardization & systemization of network process, network optimization for overall speed improvement, identify & execute projects that bring in structural network solves, develop metrics and processes to measure performance and reliability, etc.
∎ This role calls for an individual who can own all aspects of how a network impacts customer and shipper experience; manage performance, measure, analyze & then drive initiatives necessary to improve it. It requires an individual to showcase judgment and decision-making skills to balance customer experience with financial impact.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 38 years
∎ Experience delivering supply chain solutions in a very high growth environment where priorities shift fast
∎ Exhibits excellent business judgment
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team
∎ An innovative thinker who also has a strong customer and quality focus
∎ Has an entrepreneurial spirit
