Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
∎ Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage key suppliers to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service standards.
∎ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Production, Finance) to understand requirements and align procurement activities.
∎ Stay informed on market trends, pricing dynamics, and the supplier landscape to support strategic decision-making.
∎ Review, negotiate, and administer purchase contracts to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
∎ Supervise and develop a small team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals.
∎ Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience.
∎ Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
