Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering with proven track record in plumbing design & supervision.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare complex plans, specifications and project schedules related to plumbing design of the project.
∎ Conduct field visits (surveys in pre-design and design phase, and inspections of projects under construction) and emergency site visits throughout all five boroughs.
∎ Prepare complex condition assessment and feasibility reports, all phases of project design and construction drawings using CAD and specifications.
∎ Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
∎ Prepare detail layout plans for all drainage and water supply systems for all residential and official buildings.
∎ Perform regular inspection on all equipment and materials and assist in fabrication of same if required.
∎ Coordinate with design teams to establish and assure implementation of plumbing design standards for the project.
∎ Prepare cost estimates; track project schedules and budgets. Calculations for designing specific piping systems for a variety of projects
∎ Assist to allocate appropriate CAD design for all activities and ensure compliance to all client timeframe.
∎ Collaborate with all consultants and contractors for all plumbing associated work.
∎ Supervise water, gas, fire related work at the project and make necessary changes in accordance with other consultants.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ 8-10 years of experience is required. Experience in real estate developer (large scale project) will get preference.
∎ As a plumbing engineer needs excellent technical design skills in order to map out the logistics for plumbing systems. Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs is also important. Also need a sense of creativity to design systems for buildings that have unique layouts. This role requires strong attention to detail to create technical drawings or work instructions. Should also have effective communication skills in order to present your work to clients, as well as collaborate with project managers, other engineers, architects and interior designers. Leadership is also a strong attribute to have since oversee the work of junior staff, manage project timelines, and supervise vendor contracts.

∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a time-frame
