∎ Bachelors/ Masters in any discipline (Major in Supply Chain Management will get preference)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the procurement activities of the region in all respective offices. Partner with unit heads to understand the requirements and ensure timely execution
∎ Plan/forecast the procurement needs of the region for the fiscal year for management approval and monitor budgets for minimizing variations
∎ Analyse and compare quotations from various vendors and suppliers for negotiations that addresses quality of procured items and minimizes price
∎ Maintain liaison and good business relations with local vendors and administration to ensure a smooth procurement process
∎ Supervise subordinates in preparing purchase orders, processing bills, challans, etc.
∎ Ensure updates in ERP system for record keeping
∎ Review the existing procurement process and propose cost effective solutions or corrective action plans as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 - 8 years in purchase department of any group of companies.
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Able to negotiate with local vendors to obtain the best price
∎ Good knowledge of local markets
∎ Knowledge of agro / non-agro industry products and specifications.

∎ Remuneration will be offered depending upon the profile of the candidate.
