Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deputy Manager - Commercial shall be responsible for all commercial related activities and report to the Country Manager of the Company. The commercial functions mainly related to the importation of furnace oil for the power plants, sourcing and importing spare parts, coordinate & liaise with clearing & freight forwarding agents, Customs officials, regulatory institutions, and other commercial functions of the Company.
∎ Key responsibilities of the position cover the followings.
∎ Execute, monitor and manage Letter of credit
∎ Close liaison with Banks, C&F Agents and Customs Authorities and Transportation Companies to ensure the shipments arrive in a timely manner and in good physical condition.
∎ Close liaison with BPDB and other government bodies/agencies relevant to power plant issue.
∎ To follow-up the documents from time to time from the time of the import order is received until the merchandise reaches its final destination by completing all related forms and documents according to stringent guidelines and processed in timely manner.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the management.
