Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable of guiding and coordination of different activities of the factory buildings and make the team work effective and successful.
∎ Ensure compliance of civil construction with the relevant codes and standards (BNBC, FAR etc.) in accordance with the technical specifications, the contract, local applicable laws, safety & security on behalf of the company.
∎ Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering data; completing backups.
∎ Supervise construction & maintenance activities at factory and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
∎ Any other task assigned by management as per requirement.
∎ Quality control, cost control and time management & Ensure safety, security and cleanness
∎ Coordinating with all the relevant departments to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Prepare BOQ, schedule the project in logical steps and prepare budget, time required to meet deadline.
∎ Ability to prepare factory related minor structural drawing.
∎ Participate in project meetings with site engineer, sub-contractors and other engineering related personnel.
∎ Documentation and periodical reporting and capable of solving all technical and managerial problems at project
∎ Perform in planning, designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities.
∎ To manage & control maintenance tools, Engineering stores and equipment.
∎ Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
∎ Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
∎ Raise purchase requisition & follow-up with Supply Chain Management Dept. (SCM) for materials after proper estimation.
∎ Prepare daily progress report with photograph & email top management.
∎ Monitoring floor loads on weekly basis and report to top management.
∎ To identify structural defects & quickly take initiate to rectify the structure.
∎ Periodic structural inspection (PSI)/Monthly report check & recommend for the rectification for management approval.
∎ Initial/Preliminary Structural Inspection Report.
∎ All Structural Inspection reports.
∎ Any other task assign by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Capable to ready hard copy of As-built Architectural & Structural Drawing.
∎ Soft copies of the Analysis files.
∎ Core cutting and rebar sampling layout plan.
∎ Load plan
∎ Before retrofitting Load Plan/ Safe Load Plan.
∎ After Retrofitting Load Plan/ Final Load Plan.
∎ Approved Immediate Propping layout.
∎ Hard copy of Engineering Assessment Report including all relevant documents.
∎ Original test report (Core, Rebar and Soil test).
∎ Crack investigation and repair methodology report.
∎ Should have well knowledge about BNBC, Accord, Alliance fire & building safety.
∎ Retrofitting related documents
∎ All approved retrofitting drawings.
∎ Mix design (cement, sand, Coarse aggregate, water, chemical agent) maintaining register book, Chemical usage (micro concrete, epoxy, etc.). All document must be supervised by consultant engineer and register and recommendation must be followed.
∎ Retrofitting progress report and completion timeline.
∎ Materials test result/report of retrofitted elements (cylinder test report from every batch).
∎ Clearance certificate from consultant (If retrofitting works have completed).
∎ Pictorial evidence ensuring proper implementation of retrofitting.
