Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Performs troubleshooting and maintenance of Biomedical equipment.
∎ Tests and installs biomedical equipment according to engineering instructions and technical manuals.
∎ Performs monthly check according to technical manual of all Biomedical equipment.
∎ Provides technical assistance to hospital staff in the operation of Biomedical equipment.
∎ Sets-up test equipment for the appropriate testing of new biomedical equipment; analyzes performance and reliability and summarizes the results.
∎ Maintains labor and material cost records and requisitions materials, supplies and equipment.
∎ Develops product documentation as needed.
∎ Provides oversight for the activities of Sub Assistant Biomedical Engineer/Technician and Helper.
